Friends from Fort Irwin Help FC Riverside County Support Our Military

FC Riverside County is a proud supporter of the United States Armed Forces. We appreciate the hard work and sacrifice of our service members. If you are an active service member, FC Riverside County will pay for your season registration fees at FCRC Adult Soccer Leagues, the largest adult soccer league in Corona and Norco. In addition, our league has rules to accommodate scheduling for teams compromised of active service members. FCRC Adult Soccer Leagues provides an additional benefit for our brave men and women serving our country.

The United States is the land of opportunity. This privilege is only possible with the strength of our military. There are many ways we as a community can help our military. Morale plays a large role for the success of our service members in training and deployment. Our goal is to increase military morale with sports.

Our organization is privileged to serve communities from many backgrounds. This includes Irwin FC, a team comprised of active service members based in Fort Irwin and organized by Fort Irwin staff. The Irwin FC team and staff travel over 2 hours from their base to participate at FCRC Adult Soccer Leagues in Corona. Irwin FC is designated as a Service Member Team (SMT). An SMT receives accommodation, including, but not limited to pricing, scheduling, and the official rules. Irwin FC player registration fees are sponsored by FC Riverside County.

FCRC Adult Soccer Leagues offers 11v11 Men’s Open and Women’s Open for divisions 1 and 2. Over $3,000 of prizes are available. Top goal scorers of each division win a pair of soccer cleats. Families are welcome to attend. Stop by for great food and fun. To signup, just click here or call (951) 316-6314.

$1,000 Donation to Izaac Colunga

The non-profit 7v7 Play for Izaac tournament was successful. We are grateful for all the coaches and players that attended. We are also proud to announce that FC Riverside County will be donating $1,000 to Izaac Colunga’s medical fund. “FC Riverside County feels compelled to work and help our community in times of need. I hope to provide some relief and emotional support to the Colunga family. Izaac has earned it,” commented Adrian Aros, President of FC Riverside County.

Izaac Colunga is a praised upcoming professional boxer from the greater Riverside area. Izaac was tragically struck by a bullet from an unrelated incident that occurred near a family party he was attending. Izaac was left paralyzed and in critical condition. FC Riverside County organized an non-profit tournament to raise money for Izaac Colunga’s medical fund.
