The Mission: Unity Above All
The Peace Award was established by FC Riverside County to honor individuals who exemplify the courage to bring people together. In a world that often feels divided, we believe in the strength of our common ground. We recognize that while our politics or personal opinions may differ, our commitment to our neighbors and our children must remain unshakable.
We are United States of Americans
We use the full title—United States of Americans—to remind ourselves of our core identity. "Americans" is the short version of who we are: a united people in a united country. Being united does not mean we must always agree; rather, it means we possess the maturity to have discussions, to listen, and to remain one community despite our differences. The Peace Award is given to those who protect this space for dialogue.
The Gift of Escapism
FC Riverside County is intentionally designed as a place of escapism. This does not mean we are confused or undecided about the world’s issues. On the contrary, we are highly focused. Our organization is dedicated to one singular, professional goal: providing amazing, high-quality experiences for our families and students. When you step onto our field, the noise of the outside world fades away. We provide a sanctuary where the focus is on growth, sportsmanship, and the joy of the game.
The Inaugural Recipient
We are currently in the process of selecting the first recipient of the Peace Award. We are actively looking for a civic leader, community member, or partner who helps us maintain this environment of peace and excellence. The chosen recipient will be an individual who prioritizes bringing people together over driving them apart.
