Youth Soccer Program
by FC Riverside County with Crossroads & Angels Over Cliffs
This program is designed to provide low-income and at-risk students an opportunity to participate in FC Riverside County’s Youth Soccer Program. FC Riverside County offers a premium training and league experience for students of all ages. This program allows students of different backgrounds to access our youth soccer program.
FC Riverside County is partnered with Crossroads & Angels Over Cliffs to help us allocate available scholarships. Angels Over Cliffs is a citizen group, led by Angela Hair, helping families experiencing life difficulties with hope, resources, relief, and an opportunity for renewal. Angles Over Cliffs works with non-profits, faith-based communities, and civil & government agencies to serve our less fortunate.

Scholarships

Full Ride Scholarships.
FC Riverside County will pay for all registration and subscription fees. Plus, students will receive a FREE pair of Adidas/Lotto soccer cleats and shin guards.

Platinum Scholarships.
FC Riverside County will pay 66% of all subscription fees. Plus, students will receive a FREE pair of Adidas/Lotto soccer cleats and shin guards.

Gold Scholarships.
FC Riverside County will pay 33% of all subscription fees. Plus, students will receive a FREE pair of Adidas/Lotto soccer cleats.
Our Program
FC Riverside County offers a training program and a Club Recreational League. We provide the first step into soccer and ultimately provide a fun weekly activity for your child. Students will develop passing, dribbling, and shooting skills. At FC Riverside County, we emphasize FUN and focus on creating memorable experiences. We use the soccer ball as the vehicle to help children develop social, teamwork, and self-awareness skills. Our program helps students achieve their maximum potential on and off the field.
Parents should choose our club soccer program because all of our coaches are required to have played for a university or college. This ensures that your child receives high-quality coaching from individuals who have firsthand experience in the collegiate soccer environment.
While we aim to help your child become a professional player, our main priority is to set your child on a path for college soccer. Our coaches are committed to not only developing the skills and abilities of the players but also guiding them towards potential collegiate opportunities. Joining our club soccer program will provide your child with the guidance and support to pursue their soccer career while also focusing on academic success and future opportunities in college soccer.
All coaches and referees are background-certified and trained professionals.
Classes
All classes are held on Saturdays. Players are grouped into Coed teams. Players will receive a 1-hour group training session. Training sessions will be followed by an official soccer match (or be held after games). Teams will compete in a season. Your class time will be dependent on your age group’s slotted time. Players will be divided into the following age blocks:

- Games are small-sided.
- Teams are formed at random, however, you can request for your child(ren) to be placed on the same team as your friend or family member.
- All referees are trained and background certified.

Awards
Every child who completes a season will receive a medal. In addition, we will provide a trophy each week to players selected by our staff. Selection will mostly be at random.
*There is a $15 end-of-the-season fee. Season fees help cover costs like trophies and awards.

How it works:

- Angels Over Cliffs will (1) determine whether you qualify for the program and (2) approve/deny your inquiry.
FC Riverside County is committed to providing as many scholarships as possible. If you are not approved, please check back at a future date. FC Riverside County will provide more scholarship opportunities as time goes on.
Miscellaneous
Weather Cancellations: For every 9 weeks, there is 1 week that is allocated to make up for days canceled due to weather conditions. Additional lost weeks will not be made up. FC Riverside County does not control the weather. Due to organizational costs, we will not refund or credit you for classes canceled due to weather conditions (or reasons beyond our control). FC Riverside County will make all efforts to provide a different activity that is not affected by the weather.
Refunds: There are absolutely no refunds.
COVID-19 Measures: The safety of our participants is our number one priority. We are adhering to all local, state, and federal guidelines. Masks are recommended, but not mandatory. We encourage unvaccinated participants and spectators to wear a mask. Please stay home if you are sick or show symptoms of COVID-19.
